Affordable Footwear For The Holiday Season

This was compiled with the Christmas shopper in mind; you have to cover a lot of ground in a limited amount of time and you want to keep your heels from splitting in the process.  Splendid holiday flats (flat being 1 inch or less of a heel in my book) and a gel insole will take care of this shopping hurdle.

We must be well shoe’d for entering the retail combat zone; or risk getting ultra angry at the littlest of things.  When heinous Christmas music is already threatening to overtake your ipod’s headphones (somehow it always does), you’re lugging 14 bags and are about to collapse from hunger; at least your shoes won’t be hurting you!

For the boys it’s definitely about comfort first, extras after.  This is why throughout the patent and metallic visual candy there is always a solid casual design to start with. Bally and Common Projects both take an average sneaker design and ramp it up with color and metallics; the design is non threatening and wearable at the same time.,default,pd.html
