Fall 2008’s Best Affordable Little Black Dresses

We all know that the Little Black Dress (LBD) is not limited to the holiday season, though it is during this time that they can be of the most use.  LBDs are a deadly weapon in your closet; they can be built upon with tights, leggings, jewelry and belts (the list is endless) while still remaining chic and up to the moment.

It is up to you if you choose to remain with a layered black look (such as the lace tiered dress below), or with one layer of fabric; but whatever your choice is, you will look well put together.  Another pro to the LBD is the low risk factor; you can afford to experiment with accessories without messing with your base or looking too overdone.

This black prom dress from Dorothy Perkins kills it with its simplistic drape skirt and strapless tube design.  Though you will be wearing polyester, though at £60 you certainly can’t complain about being raked over the cash coals. This is one hot [and affordable] little number!
